An independent city tucked against Chattanooga's north side (it has its own
mayor and police) (redbanktn.gov). Red Bank
has the old-school strip of Dayton Boulevard
(Wikipedia),
a growing little downtown along Dayton Blvd, and easy freeway access.
Older ranch homes and bungalows dominate, with new townhome infill appearing.
Prices are generally lower than Chattanooga city limits - a common
"move here for the value" pick.
Downtown Chattanooga ~10 minutes. I-24/27 are right there, which is great for
commutes but means noise in spots. Northshore is across the river (~5 min).
