The fast-growing eastside. Ooltewah (town of) is a sea of newer
subdivisions along Ooltewah-Ringgold and Snow Hill Roads. Collegedale,
just east, is the tidy home of Southern Adventist University
(southern.edu) - known for its
cleanliness, strong schools, and the popular The Farm at Stanley's farm
stand and bakery.
Predominantly newer construction: vinyl-sided subdivisions, many with HOA,
plus apartment complexes along the main corridors. Generally the priciest
suburban tier after East Brainerd.
The I-75 corridor is the lifeline. Downtown Chattanooga ~25 minutes (worse in
rush); Hamilton Place and the airport ~10-15. The Volkswagen assembly plant
(Enterprise South) and other industrial jobs cluster nearby on Volkswagen /
Southern Blvd (Wikipedia: VW
Chattanooga).
